project context

As the LendInvest Design team rapidly grew, maintaining a consistent look and feel across its products became a bit of a puzzle. The mix of different design elements on various screens was throwing off the business overall aesthetic and user experience.

Some UI elements were spotted in incosistent mode for similar purposes and a few elements from  the Style Guide didn’t pass the minimum treshold for accessbility standards. 



focus on what adds more value
After assessing the areas and components that needed attention, the team decided on a plan to address multiple issues concurrently with ongoing projects. Our primary focus was to improve the user experience across different products.

I was trusted the card component, one of the key components for information grouping. I conducted a comprehensive review of our existing design resources and studied various Design Systems in the market. Drawing on principles like the Law of Common Region and Law of Proximity. The final outuput is a versatile card component serving multiple functions, thus improving user understanding and interaction.



outcome
Upon its integration, the new card component made its debut on our website product. Through user testing and refinements, we noticed a marked improvement in design consistency and coherence across our product range. This initiative not only streamlined our design processes but also fostered a culture of sustainable design practices within the team.
